This Privacy Policy explains how Emouna LLC ("Emouna," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with Cribside Baby Monitor (the "App") and the website at monitor.babysleepcoach.app (the "Site"). Emouna LLC is the publisher of the App and the parent company behind it; our company information is at emouna.com.mx.
Cribside has no servers and no accounts. Video and audio never leave your devices — they stream directly from one of your devices to the other over your local network, encrypted. We collect no personal information, run no analytics, use no advertising or tracking, and cannot see, hear, or store anything about you or your child. The App Store privacy label for this App reads Data Not Collected. The full policy below controls.
Emouna LLC is a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Florida, United States, operating as an AI-native product studio and app publisher. This Policy covers the App and the Site. It does not cover third-party services you may separately use, including the Apple App Store, which is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
This Policy serves as our Notice at Collection for California residents and as our privacy notice under the data protection laws identified in Section 12.
We do not collect, receive, transmit, store, process, sell, share, or otherwise handle any personal information through the App. This is not a policy choice we could quietly reverse — it is a consequence of the architecture. The App has no backend service, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no user accounts, and no mechanism for sending your content anywhere except directly to the other device you paired.
Specifically, we do not collect: names, email addresses, phone numbers, account identifiers, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP addresses, location data, contacts, photos, health data, usage analytics, diagnostic data, video, audio, or any derived information such as cry detections, sleep patterns, or timelines.
Cribside operates entirely on your local network (or, where supported, a direct device-to-device wireless connection between two Apple devices in range of each other).
Because there is no server component, we have no ability to intercept, log, retain, or reconstruct your stream, and no lawful demand made to us could compel us to produce it — we do not possess it.
The App stores the following locally, on your device only:
None of this is transmitted to us. Deleting the App removes app-stored data; Keychain items and any photos you saved are removed according to Apple's platform behavior and your own device settings.
The App requests only the permissions it needs, and uses each one solely for the stated purpose:
You may revoke any permission at any time in iOS Settings. Revoking a permission degrades the related feature, and the App tells you when it does.
The App is free to download and includes a time-limited trial. Continued use requires a one-time in-app purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple. We never see or receive your payment card number, billing address, or Apple Account credentials. We receive only aggregate, anonymized sales and payout reporting from Apple, which does not identify individual customers.
Whether your device is unlocked is determined on-device, using Apple's StoreKit entitlement information and, where you have joined a household using a pairing code, a local record stored in your Keychain. No purchase or entitlement information is transmitted to us.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, or under comparable laws. We have never done so and the App has no technical capability to do so. We use no advertising networks, no data brokers, and no third-party trackers.
Security in Cribside comes from design rather than from promises about our infrastructure: there is no infrastructure holding your data. On-device measures include encrypted transport between paired devices, Keychain storage of keys, pairing codes that regenerate each session, and a lockout after repeated incorrect pairing attempts.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is perfectly secure. You are responsible for the security of your own devices, including passcodes, operating system updates, and the security of your Wi-Fi network.
The App is designed for use by parents, guardians, and caregivers, who must be adults. It is not directed to children and is not intended for use by children. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent age under applicable law). The App is rated 4+ because it contains no objectionable content, not because it is intended for children's use.
The Site is a set of static informational pages served from a content delivery network. It sets no cookies, embeds no third-party scripts, loads no external fonts or analytics, and asks for no information. Our hosting provider processes standard technical request data (such as IP address and user agent) transiently to deliver and protect the Site; we do not build profiles from it and do not receive it in an identifiable, retained form.
If you email us at support@emouna.com.mx, we receive whatever you choose to include — typically your email address and your description of the issue. We use it only to help you, retain it only as long as needed for that purpose and our records, and never use it for marketing without your consent.
Data protection laws give you rights over personal information a company holds about you — for example the rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to processing, to withdraw consent, to opt out of sale or sharing, and to be free of discrimination for exercising those rights. These rights are recognized under, among others, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, other US state privacy statutes, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, and Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (the "ARCO" rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition).
Because we hold no personal information about App users, in practice there is nothing for us to retrieve, correct, delete, or port. You may still contact us at support@emouna.com.mx to exercise any right, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law and confirm our holdings. Where a supervisory authority exists in your jurisdiction, you have the right to lodge a complaint with it.
Where the GDPR applies and processing does occur (for example, support correspondence you initiate), our legal bases are your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to you.
Emouna LLC is based in the United States and operates internationally. Because the App transfers no personal information to us, the App creates no cross-border transfer of your personal information. Any support correspondence you send us will be received and stored in the United States.
If this Policy changes, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date. Material changes affecting how the App handles information will also be reflected in the App's App Store privacy label, which Apple displays before download. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
