Cribside collects no data. None.

What we collect

Nothing. Cribside has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no servers. We never see your video, hear your audio, or learn anything about you or your baby.

How monitoring works

Video and audio stream directly between your two devices over your local network (or a direct device-to-device connection), protected by transport-layer encryption with keys that exist only on your devices. The stream is never sent to us or to any third party — we have no servers to send it to.

What stays on your device

• Monitoring events (cries, noises, connections) and settings are stored only on your device.
• Snapshots you take are saved to your photo library, on your device.
• Pairing keys are stored in your device's secure Keychain.

Deleting the app deletes this data.

Permissions

Camera and microphone are used solely to stream video and sound to your paired device and to detect crying, on-device. Local-network access is used solely to connect your two devices. Photo library access (add-only) is used solely to save snapshots you take.

Purchases

The free trial and the one-time unlock are processed by Apple. We receive no payment details. Apple's privacy policy governs the transaction.

Children

Cribside is an app for parents and caregivers. Because we collect no data, we collect no data about children.
